Melting and boiling points 

Since both anatase and plate titanium dioxide change to rutile at high temperatures, their melting and boiling points are virtually nonexistent. The melting point value of rutile titanium dioxide is not consistent with the data. It is generally believed that at 1800~1875℃, the melting point in air is 1830±15℃, and the melting point in oxygen-rich is 1879±15℃. The melting point is related to the purity of titanium dioxide. The moisture absorption of titanium dioxide is related to the properties of the treatment agent when it is treated on the surface, and also has a certain relationship with the size of its specific surface area. The moisture absorption of large specific surface area is also slightly higher.

Thermal stability

Titanium dioxide is a thermostable compound. When it is heated under vacuum, there will be a slight loss of oxygen, accompanied by a dark blue color. The reaction is reversible and will return to the original white color after cooling.
